I've been a bit busy lately but I haven't forgot about you ;)
This poster is a piece of the quick tips series, but is focused in how to make questions, how to start the communication, which, sometimes it's the hardest part of it, right?
The question can be used to borrow things from somebody else.
Questions in yellow, possible answers in green. More potential replies are totally correct, so, it would be interesting to have your students doing some research and find more answers for this communicative situation. All vocabulary used in this image it's from a unit about the school.

Quick tips: talking about weather in Spanish

I found this posters to be really useful in my classes. I started created them to save time and it is really working. The posters are based on common mistakes from my students and just general common mistakes of Spanish language learners, sound like proper feedback ;)
They really come in handy when a student makes a mistake and you don't want to stop your class, or the mistake is made by the majority of the class, I just upload a poster with a brief explanation and a couple of examples to their Edmodo for them to check after class. It is a simple way of providing feedback to your students, incorporating technologies in you class and time-management skills.

I like to keep the structure simple using the green color for correct examples and yellow for those that need attention.

A good related resource I usually use to help my students internalize this (sometimes is difficult.... huh?) is the song from Los Rodríguez Hace calor

IB Profile in Spanish: Communicator

Hi there!
Another poster to use in your class. The image grasps the concept of being a good communicator and the definition of the attribute is added.
This poster is perfect to hang on your class wall or just to use it as a quick prompt in your class.

Expressions in Spanish: Ser un pez gordo

To learn idiomatic expressions in the target language is essential because native speakers do use them all the time. 
Expressions are used in formal and informal speech. 
A language learner that is using expressions transmits certain information about him/her that is implied. Students communicating effectively with expressions show a deeper understanding of the language and also of the target culture.
For showing our proficiency in a language. Once you have mastered a certain number of expressions and include them in your interactions you are ready to go beyond the language borders.

Ideas gráficas: Resolver problemas

La resolución de problemas es un pilar en la educación actual. Preparar a nuestros alumnos para que sean capaces de resolver los problemas que se les plantearán en el futuro es crucial. Dotarlos de las herramientas necesarias para enfrentarse a la incertidumbre aplicando el pensamiento crítico. 

Podemos invitar a nuestros estudiantes a reflexionar sobre imágenes y/o citas inspiradoras como ésta. Además, podemos utilizar esta actividad para desarrollar habilidades descriptivas. Algunas estructuras que pueden usar para describir la imagen son:

- En esta imagen podemos ver...

- En la foto / fotografía se aprecia...

- La ilustración nos muestra...

- En la imagen se puede ver...

- Se trata de una imagen...
