El Trabajo escrito es una actividad muy importante en tu curso de español B. [Para Nivel Superior pincha aquí]La razón es que se te está pidiendo que seas independiente, que te comportes como un adulto, que investigues por tu cuenta un tema que te interesa. 
Todo está centrado en ti, en el estudiante, por eso tienes que aprovechar esta oportunidad para demostrar a todos que ya estás lista/o para dar un paso más, para llegar a la universidad y ser tratado con más autonomía. 
Con este objetivo te proponemos este planificador, para que te ayude a cubrir todos los pasos necesarios. Para que no olvides nada de lo necesario para tener mucho éxito con tu trabajo escrito.

Recuerda los requisitos más importantes:
- no desviarte de tus objetivos
- ideas claras y ejemplos o datos para apoyarlas
- número de palabras
- tipo de texto
- registro y audiencia

Spanish B Unit: Hombre precavido vale por dos

This is a mini-unit or a express unit on Health. 
Through this unit you can learn/review text types [brochure/pamphlet], paper 1, paper 2 and individual oral. 
I really do like these "quick" units and I think my students got the most out of them. Less time, less pressure but more learning.
When it comes to optional units there is no need of doing long units on every topic. Through these express units we expose our students to the necessary vocabulary, concepts and give them a general idea of what is the unit about.

Learn Spanish with the version of your favorite song

Back with music to learn Spanish, a former student (gracias Tina) passed me this youtube channels with Spanish versions of pop hits. We, teachers, are always talking about adapting the content to our students motivations... This is a great opportunity for that.
Also, the bands are very talented and not just singing but editing the videos as well.
These channels are, definitely, worth a try.



You can do any activitiy song-related with these, although take into account that all are high level language songs. We can try these channels with our Spanish B classes, ab Initio students could just listen for fun if they like the songs and make it optional. Make them compulsory for your class could bring down the moral of your students. 

Ideas:  - One of these songs can be the perfect fit for one of your three Interactive Oral activities [10% of your final score] that you have to do in your Spanish B as part of your Internal Assessment. After listening to it, you can do a:   - group discussion/debate about the topic of the song [remember this   assessment is based on the core]   - role-play based on the topic distributing your students in pairs.   - anything that involves oral interaction is valid - You can use edpuzzle.com and personalize your activity [believe me, if you don't know this site, it's amazing]

Oral Individual: Español B

La mejor presentación de un alumno se parecería a algo así:

Los alumnos

- expresan sus ideas y opiniones propias.

- exploran la opción con la que está conectada la imagen y la relacionan con la leyenda

- investigan/cuestionan/opinan sobre el contenido y lo relacionan con la leyenda

Comprobamos que uno los puntos más relevantes es la leyenda, por lo que los profesores:

- tienen que ofrecer leyendas adecuadas

- las mejores leyendas suelen ser preguntas y/o frases polémicas

- la leyenda no puede ser demasiado breve ni demasiado compleja, tiene que adaptarse al nivel de los alumnos.

Además los profesores deberían hacer preguntas abiertas para permitir al alumno entablar una conversación relevante e interesante.

Algunos de los errores más típicos de un alumno de Español B realizando el Oral Individual son:

- concordancia sustantivo-adjetivo

- género incorrecto

- conjugaciones

- tiempos verbales

- ser y estar

- la problema

Algunos consejos que pueden resultar útiles para preparar el Oral Individual:

• Prepárate para manejar tu tiempo. Divide la actividad en 2 mitades de 3-4 minutos para la presentación y 5-6 minutos para la conversación.
• Relájate
• No hay que hablar más de lo necesario.
• Enfatiza las conexiones que haces con la opción, con la cultura hispana y con tu propia cultura.
• Puedes re-preguntar, o pedir que tu profe te clarifique la pregunta. Estas dos acciones tienen una acogida fantástica entre los profesores y los examinadores. Incluso si eres un valiente puedes hacer una pregunta a tu profe, será de lo más auténtico que es de lo que se trata.
• Prepara al menos una respuesta para una situación hipotética usando el subjuntivo: ¿qué le dirías a ….? o ¿qué harías si tuvieras/fueras …?
